The Gwangandaegyo Bridge or also Diamond Bridge is a suspension bridge across the Sooyoung Bay of the Korea Strait in the city of Busan in South Korea. It is the second longest bridge in South Korea after the Incheon Bridge in the city of Incheon and connects Haeundae-gu to Suyeong-gu of Busan. The length of the bridge is 1620 meters, the length of the main span is 500 m, and the total length is 7420 meters. The bridge was under construction from 1994 to December 2002, and its official opening was held in January 2003. Busan is the second largest city in South Korea and the country’s largest seaport. It is located on the coast of the Korea Strait in the southeast of the Korean Peninsula. Busan is one of the leading industrial and financial centers of the country and one of the most modern cities in Asia. Busan is famous for its many skyscrapers, architectural landmarks and excellent sandy beaches, attracting a large number of tourists from all over the world.
