The Hopewell Rocks, or also the Flowerpots Rocks are one of most unusual natural attractions in Canada, representing rock formations on the shores of the Bay of Fundy at the Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park in New Brunswick, Eastern Canada. It is located at the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy 38 km southeast of the city of Moncton, and is a part of Fundy National Park. The Hopewell Rocks consist of rock and sandstone and are up to 20 meters high. It was formed as a result of a strong tidal wave, which reaches more than 16 meters in the Bay of Fundy. Twice a day a tidal wave almost completely covers the Hopewell Rocks.
