Semmering is a town and an old ski resort of Austria, located in the federal state of Lower Austria, 88 km southwest of Vienna. It is located at an altitude of 984 m above sea level, between The Rax mountain range in the north and the Wechsel mountain range in the south. Semmering was founded in 1888 and for a long time was popular with the Viennese aristocracy. Here are preserved ancient villas and beautiful untouched nature, which gives a special atmosphere to the resort.
